The Rwanda National Carrier (Rwandair) has today 3rd May announced its resumption of its services to and from South Africa’s city of Johannesburg after a temporary suspension due to the Covid19 pandemic
The airline published an updated flight and destination routing schedule on its website that involves important information, such as border closures, schedule, resumption date of our flights, and medical requirements.
Among the highlighted measure is a compulsory certificate of a negative COVID-19 test that is required for all travelers arriving, transiting, or departing from Rwanda.
The only accepted test is a SARS-Cov 2 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) performed within 72 hours of departure time. Other tests such as Rapid Diagnostics Test (RDTs) are not accepted.
